Log Fence

This "fence" is really cool looking. it is built in front of one of the oldest "plantation" homes in this concentrated area...the house looks like a regular run-of-the-mill place in comparison with the other homes here now, but i am sure in its time it was magnificent. the grounds are now a flower/shrub/landscaping business, but the fence has been there as long as i can remember.

I the fence.  I love the picture, but man, I REALLY love that fence!  Can you imagine how long it would have taken to construct it?  With my luck the whole thing would have toppled like a stack of matchsticks when I placed the last log on!

Oh I do like that!  Must've taken a long time and patience to build as well!

yes, these fences are beautiful.... we have a lot here in this area, and beautiful stone fences. Craftsmanship at it's best. Lovely.

Hey Christie....  Besides really loving the fence, I really love the photo.   I am always amazed at your gift for having the eye to shoot these shots.  You rock!    Nancy
