Portrait of a Dreamer

A picture of one of my best friends...i took this in a photoshoot for her website. albert, in all his artsy glory, has a question about the amount of flowers in photoblogs. k, buddy...i will try to explain my view...i can't speak for anyone else. i don't think i saw flowers before i bought this camera. now the detail, the very essence of nature that close up astounds me. i photograph them because of the beauty i find there...they move me. i don't have any street shots, my town is too small to have a building over 9-10 stories high (and even those aren't worthy...). however, i will try to stray off the mainstay of the flowered path just a little (no promises, mind you)---let's see what we can come up with, shall we?

I tried to comment but it didn't work, so if this shows up twice, that's why. I like this a lot. I have a hard time with pictures of people. I think they require a lot more work than flowers or buildings. Flowers are just sitting there, looking pretty, waiting for us to come by with our cameras. :)

What mystery lurks behind the honey blonde hair? Are the eyes brown a light smile on those ruby lips. Will the look of come kiss me before I stumble be in the eyes a tear of laughter. Heartache looking for someone with a Dubro guitar to make music with, with out an introduction I will never know. The sadness I feel as I look from a far off place wondering will we meet or shall I set by the small water-fall in antisipation of a chance meeting. I know this place and it is close to my heart. bill  by chance an e-mail jdhideaway@aol.com

NO MORE MYSTERY THAN THIS PICTURE CONJURES UP.  FROMTHE GEORGOUS HAIR TO THE RING, TO THE INTENSITY OF A LONELY GUITAR.  YOU ARE GREAT!
