Hosta

I went out riding in the countryside this afternoon and happened upon a great little falls area i didn't even know existed. it was a beautiful place, very peaceful... and amazingly landscaped. lots of hosta and lavender.

I didn't think this was my first time visiting your j, but once I got here I realized it must be, because I immediately had to go back and look at ALL your pictures.

This is beautiful!

Found your journal through the awards, and your photos are wonderful!  I understand you're a Tennesseean as well (so am I.)

Hmmmm, how did you find the strength to walk away from that?  Oh yeah, thats right, I've seen a picture of your yard!  So tell me, did you kick off your shoes and stick your feet in?  I would have.  But knowing me and my luck (or lack of it) I would have come away with leeches!  Gorgeous picture.  Wish I had your eye... and your camera!

Woohooo!  Congrats on being the Editors Top Pick this week!  I always like it when they get it right.  Your pictures are looking more beautiful than ever.  I don't think that "amateur" describes them accurately.  They are unique, and beautiful to look at, I could easily see them as cards, posters etc.  Keep it up,  Albert

lovely, lovely. I always loved to take photos in streams where there was a rill of water over rocks...... fascinated me. Small waterfalls were a close second. Thank you! judi
