An aged wrought iron/wooden bridge in an older part of the rural area where i live. it crosses a babbling part of choccolocco creek near an old mill house. this whole area is extremely gorgeous and definitely not part of the newer "cookie-cutter" home construction that has popped up in the old farming areas in the last 3-4 years. now that we have cable, everybody wants to live in the boonies....hehehe

Great depth in this, very nice.
Wow I have a thing for bridges also, do u live in Missouri? I remember my ex husband driving over a bridge with me like this a long time again, it was sooooo scary, you could hear the creaking of the boards.
This is a very pretty picture.
Christie you're #1 on the almighty editor's list!!!! Congratulations!
This bridge is awesome - I miss American bridges. They just don't look like that in Germany.
XOXO....Kelli
This takes me home to Indiana! Wonderful picture. :-) I read from the last comment you are #1 on the editors list ~ CONGRATULATIONS! They did good or should I say they got it RIGHT with selecting you.

Just Super to see all these cool photoblogs on AOL Editor's picks!
This is a wonderful photo reminder of the great old Bridges of the past-
There are still a few of these to be found in the mountains of WV and are now "walking bridges." _rrose

I am truly fascinated by the photographs. They are astonishing. It does make me feel closer to nature and loving of the many creations for which God has made and placed on this beloved earth. If we don't admire what is around us how can we really admire what is already inside. This is something to think as I have done and have not stopped doing. Great work.
Another great shot my friend!
Love it!

This has got to be one of my favorites out of all your pics! I LOVE IT!!!!
A very special congrats to being #1 Editor's Pick this week, chick!!! SO VERY VERY HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!
I was bummed you didn't win the AOL Best Picture Taker (or whatever its called) because I nominated and voted for you. I think your journal is phenomenal and most definitely should've won.
But the fact you are THE editor's pick this week, kind of makes up for it a smidge. At least you are getting the recognition you so deserve.
Many many congrats to a very sweet, encouraging, good hearted woman who's been there for me through thick and thin. Big hugs and thank yous!!!!!
This picture reminds me of my childhood home...we lived in the boonies and had an "old" bridge like this...Lovely photo!
