Photo of the rapidly rising Choccolocco Creek....er...RIVER on the way to work this a.m., and it has continued to steadily rain since then...and will continue to rain until Thursday morning, I am told. It should cease at that time. Something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving....lol
Wow, just in time for the most travelled day of the year... hehehe Luckily, when Cider Ridge was born, a pump station was put in to control the flooding in this area, and the houses closest to the creek were built on brick 'stilts'. Before that happened, this road was nonexistant during high rains, and would probably be at least 6-7 feet under water at this point...

It's really scary when it rains, and rains with no end in sight. Lived in a flood plain, in Texas in the 80's, hated it.
